Namen projekta je krepitev povezovanja predšolskih izobraževalnih ustanov v Evropi. Projekt je usmerjen v proučevanje in razvijanje učenja drugega jezika otrok etničnih manjšin ter gluhih in naglušnih otrok v predšolski dobi.

Projekt je povezan s specifičnimi cilji strategije Evropa 2020, še posebej z učenjem in poučevanjem jezikov. V našem primeru gre za učenje drugega jezika. Prav tako je projekt povezan z poljem predšolske vzgoje, saj je v evropskem prostoru malo projektov za predšolsko vzgojo.

Glavni cilj projekta je izboljšanje učenja drugega jezika pri otrocih migrantov, otrocih, ki pripadajo etničnim manjšinam in gluhih otrocih.

Project description:

The purpose of the project is to strengthen cooperation between early childhood education and care institutions in European countries by building well working network between project countries. The project will be aimed at developing quality and innovation in second language teaching to children of ethnic minorities and deaf community in pre-primary education.

The project addresses the specific objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy, especially the teaching and learning of languages, in the project case, the second language. It also addresses the priorities in the field of early education: access and quality in pre-school education. At European level, there is still a lack of projects in which pre-primary schools can participate and projects aiming at quality in early childhood education.  It also addresses one of the main goals of early childhood education: the importance of the language development in the earliest period.

General objective of the project is to increase language teaching competences of pre-primary education for children with migrant background or ethnic minorities.

CILJI:

  • Promoviranje učenje jezika ter razvijati metodologijo v evropskih državah, ki jih bomo povezali v mrežo.
  • Izboljšanje možnosti izobraževanja za učitelje.
  • Pridobivanje novih izkušenj, učitelji bodo razvili celostni in starosti primeren pristop pridobivanja jezika države, v kateri živijo omenjene ranljive skupine otrok.
  • Povezovanje partnerskih organizacij z namenom boljšega predšolskega izobraževanja, predvsem na področju jezika.

OBJECTIVES:

  • To promote networking of ECEC in European countries in language teaching acquisition for ethnic minorities in a transnational framework.
  • To improve the accessibility of education by training educational staff for diversity and inclusion education challenges.
  • To facilitate experience exchange of ECEC educational staff and to develop holistic and age appropriate collaborative approaches in state language acquisition.
  • To strengthen collaboration with parents to increase their participation in early childhood education and language learning.

AKTIVNOSTI V PROJEKTU:

  • Strokovne vsebine: tehnike učenja drugega jezika, nove metode in pristopi v predšolskem obdobju, spoznavanje izobraževalnih sistemov
  • Informiranje in diseminacija

The project will be organized in three main activities. The first activity “Project management”, the second – “Building teaching capacity” and the third – “Information and dissemination”.

  • The first activity “Project management” is created to ensure smooth and transparent project implementation according to the application and approved budget.
  • The second activity package – “Building teaching capacity” which consists of LTT activities and local events and will be aimed at strengthening cooperation, exchanging experiences and elaborating new teaching methods and approaches in second language teaching in pre-schools.
  • Third activity – “Dissemination of project results” will be aimed to inform about project and disseminate project results. The activity will consist of such sub-activities:
  • information activities about the project and dissemination of project results.
